viRACE is a social fitness service for outdoor activities. viRACE belongs to the product group of Quevita AG, which also includes other products such as running.COACH, 2PEAK, and step.COACH. Its headquarters are in Olten, Switzerland. viRACE is a community-supported platform.

We create virtual experiences and group events so you can interact with other viRACE users. This means that viRACE is a social platform, and your profile information as well as information about your runs and races will be shared with other users.

The privacy of our users is important to us. This privacy policy has been created to explain how we receive, collect, use, and disclose information we obtain through your use of the websites, apps, and other services operated or controlled by viRACE.

viRACE reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time. Please check it periodically. If viRACE makes changes to this privacy policy, the updated privacy policy will be published in a timely manner. If we make changes that we consider material, we will provide a clear notice. If you object to changes to this privacy policy, you should stop using the services and delete your account.

  • Some events send physical prizes or medals. You can provide your residential or delivery address here. Not all organizers ship worldwide. All information is treated confidentially and only shared with the organizer in case of a win.

  • All other profile data, such as first name, last name, and email addresses, including geodata, are not publicly visible.

  • At no time does viRACE share profile data with independent third parties.

  • viRACE regularly sends newsletters to all users. In these newsletters, viRACE informs about new platform features, contributions from other Quevita AG platforms, partner offers, blogs, events, etc.

  • Cookies are used on the viRACE platform to identify the user during the visit. Access data is stored in a log file with each page view. The stored record includes the IP address, remote host, time, status, transmitted data volume, referrer page, and product and version information of the used browser (User-Agent).

Location Data

We collect and process location data when you actively participate in a competition with the app. In order to track even in locked mode, we require access to your location with the setting "Always." We do not track your device's location when you are not using viRACE. However, to provide viRACE's core services, we need to track your device's location while you are using viRACE. If you wish to stop tracking your device's location, you can adjust this at any time through your device settings.
